In terms of similarities, Gwyneth Paltrow has proven she can sing country and Nicole Kidman is married to one of country music's biggest stars. Now the two award-winning actresses have another thing in common: an eye for Stella McCartney's latest patterned dresses.

Kidman, 44, joined her husband Keith Urban at the 2011 BMI Country Music Awards in Nashville November 9, clad in the designer's red, one-sleeve, floor-length column dress.

A little over a week later on November 17, Paltrow, 39, showed some skin in a much shorter blue version straight off McCartney's Spring 2012 runway, which she wore to Coach's 70th Anniversary party in Beijing, China.

Both stars opted to wear their long hair down in a pin-straight style around their shoulders.
